Upon entering the studio, to the right, is a mini kitchen hidden behind the closet. It's fully equipped with all the common appliances: washer, dryer, refrigerator, wine chiller, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle. The whole set of cutleries, cooking utensils, pots and pans are provided too. By the way, all the non-alcoholic beverages in the fridge are complimentary.
The bedroom is quite cramped as compared to the other parts of the suite.
There are two entrance to the bathroom. Also, there's a sliding door separating the toilet and the bathroom.
The Executive Club entitles us access to the exclusive 29th floor, where the complimentary tea break is available at 3 to 5pm. It was a simple spread of tuna sandwiches, cookies, coffee and some selection of green and black tea. At the window seats, we could enjoy the city view while sipping our coffee. Breakfast is also served here in the morning, but we chose to eat at the usual breakfast buffet at Café Brio's, which has a much larger variety of food.
As part of the Valentine's Day room package, a 3-course fine dining dinner at Pontini was included. After dinner, we took a short refreshing stroll along Singapore River, before returning back to our room.
KB had to ask the hotel staff about the wine, which was stated in his booking. After some confusion among the staffs, they brought the complimentary wine, together with dessert. The pair would have been perfect if we had dessert wine instead.
The next day after breakfast, we used the GV Gold Class vouchers (included in the room package) and caught a movie. We didn't have to rush because the room was available for late check out at 4pm. In fact, we still had time to relax in the room after returning from the cinema.
