Sydney Explorer Bus
The entire loop takes 90 minutes as stated on the their website and it cost AUD 40 for a 24 hours hop-on-hop-off adult ticket. KB's friend suggested we take this on the first day to be familiar with the city and so we did because this is our first trip to Sydney. Otherwise, I don't think it's worth using this bus to get around. It's chilly sitting on the upper deck for too long during winter. Ideally, we should be hopping off to see some of the attractions along the way, but we were running late and I wanted to get to the Sydney Tower Eye just before sunset. We had to go to Sydney Tower Eye before going to any other attractions because of the combo pass. Maybe we should have avoided the rush and use our bus tickets the next day instead. I felt that we didn't make full use of the ticket.
Ho Chi Minh City
Last week, I went with a school trip to Ho Chi Minh. We landing in the city's International Airport in the late afternoon and was greet by a warm and sunny weather. Since we flew on Jetstar, we were all super hungry by the time we collect our luggage. First stop: lunch! Along the way, the city quickly revealed its culture and its people's way of life.
On our first night, we went to watch the water puppet show. The puppeteers stand in a pool of water and controlled the wooden hand-carved puppets from behind a bamboo screen. The entire play was narrated in Vietnamese.
Being a French colony from 1874 to 1954, Vietnam has historical architectures designed with French influence.
On our last day of the trip, we visited the War Remnants Museum, which displayed many exhibits about the Vietnam War (1955 to 1975).

On our last day of the trip, we visited the War Remnants Museum, which displayed many exhibits about the Vietnam War (1955 to 1975).

Zürich City
Our 8D7N Switzerland tour with Cosmos started in Zürich. We went clockwise around the country and ended up back in Zürich. While in this city, we stayed at Novotel Zürich City West. During the free and easy times, we took tram no. 4 to the city center.

Zürich's tram system can be considered sophisticated. The stops are installed with digital panels to show the arrival times of the next tram. Inside the tram, the next few stop locations are displayed (see photo above) together with the estimated time to each destination.

Lucerne City
The final part of Day Six was to see the city of Lucerne. From Schiller Hotel, our guide took us on a walk through the iconic Chapel Bridge, across Reuss River.
The day ended with Swiss Folklore Performance and cheese fondue dinner.

The following day, we visited the Lion Monument, which was dedicated to the Swiss mercenaries killed during the French Revolution in Paris.

Bern City
We spent our morning in Gruyères and before lunch, the coach dropped us off in Bern.
Looks like many residents commute by bicycles and I noticed that their buses have "CO2 neutral" labels on them. Perhaps, this is why they have such clean air in the city.
